Saints are in the mix for a QB-cornerback combo

The New Orleans Saints have had interest in former Clemson star Tre’Davious White and are also monitoring former LSU star Taysom Hill, according to a report from The Associated Press.

The two players are expected to visit the Saints in the next few weeks.

White, who is now a college free agent, is expected to meet with the Saints on Saturday before making a final decision.

Hill, a former three-star recruit from Louisiana, is reportedly in line for a bigger contract and would likely receive a new contract if the Saints decide to match his offer sheet.

The Saints signed Hill to a two-year deal worth $10 million last month and he’s also scheduled to make $5.5 million in incentives.

Hill played for the Tigers during the 2014 season before transferring to LSU.

White is expected back in the Saints’ fold, though the team won’t officially announce his status until the next day.
