Facebook’s Philadelphians: What’s the fuss about?

PHILADELPHIA — The social network Facebook has removed a post from its site that showed a woman posing in front of the company’s logo with her eyes closed.

The post, titled “Facebook’s New Privacy Policy,” showed a smiling woman holding a camera with a caption reading, “I want to get more eyes open, but it’s hard to tell if it’s me or a cat.”

The post has been removed.

Facebook spokeswoman Amanda Rieger said the post was not approved by the social network.

The company is reviewing the post to see if it violates Facebook’s policies and has asked users to flag it.

Facebook says it has removed several similar posts in the past, but does not say what prompted the recent change.

The company also says that people can flag posts they don’t agree with.

The Post has contacted Facebook for comment.
